Final exams are just around the corner for Western Illinois University students. One local park is helping students relax before the big week.
Spring Lake Park is hosting a free day for WIU students, faculty, and staff. This Saturday, May 7 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. anyone with a valid WIU ID can enjoy Spring Lake’s amenities for no charge.
Spring Lake offers kayak and canoe rentals. There are also several hiking and biking trails for visitors to use. Fishing is also an option while visiting.
