“Final First Wednesday” set for May

The WIU Department of Art will hold its final “First Wednesday” event of the semester May 4th.
First Wednesday May 2016 FinalEvents include bubble monoprints, a palette knife painting workshop, paper flower construction, cyanotype portraits, and more.

There will also be live music from Assistant Professor of Art Duke Oursler.

First Wednesday will be held in Garwood Hall, the Heating Plant Annex, and the University Art Gallery from 7 to 9 p.m.

The art gallery is also featuring the annual Juried Student Exhibition, as well as the Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition by senior art major Cassie Loos.

All events are free and open to the public.
