An event that has been going on for years at a local Macomb church is about to take place again tonight. The annual “5 Alarm” Chili Supper and Auction will be held tonight in the Immanuel Lutheran Student Center Fellowship Hall (located in the basement) at 303 North Clay Street in Macomb. The event is being put on by the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) and this is a fundraiser to fund Missions.

People who are attending the event are being asked to bring one or multiple bars of unused/ unopened soap as their admission. A freewill offering is also being held for the event. That offering will also go to support Missions. The LWML strongly encourage everyone to come even if they have no soap and no money for the offerings.

Chili, desert, fellowship, and auction items will be available for all to enjoy tonight. Items available for auction include furniture, microwaves, a golf bag, St. Louis Cardinal items, a Christmas tree, toys, kitchen tools, and more. The event starts tonight at 5 PM.
