Facilities Management opened the fences of the northwest ramp to the Union last Monday. This, along with the Cupola Restoration Project, is another almost completed project that was supposed to be finished before students arrived for the fall semester.
Earlier this semester, the ramp was completed, but the recent rainy summer caused damages across the finished product. These damages consisted of cracks in the cement.
Now that they have completely replaced the cemented layer, all that remains are minor touch ups. “We opened the ramp, but minor bullet points still need to taken care of,” said Facilities Management.
No information about those bullet points were mentioned, but students are glad to finally access the Union once again without having to walk around to the southern entrance.
