Applications for Leadership Award are Now Being Accepted

LGBTQAWordmarkApplications are being accepted for the Western Illinois University 2016 Martin Dupuis/Mukti Fund Leadership Award in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Communities.

The scholarship is for $1,300 and goes to a student who shows leadership in a GLBT group or GLBT issues.  To qualify for this scholarship the applicant must be an undergraduate student and coming back for the WIU 2016-2017 academic year.

One must also complete an application, write a short essay and provide a resume and two letters of reference.

The scholarship winner will be selected by the University Committee on Sexual Orientation Gender Identity and Expression.  Applications are due by, Friday, March 11, are available in the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access located in Sherman Hall 203, or can be accessed directly at http://bit.ly/1O7pmYK.
