A news release says the “Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust” donated $161,000 to WIU Engineering students in the Quad-Cities.
That money will be used to expand lab space and enhance learning opportunities.
The donation will also support the repurposing of 2 existing spaces into a modern computer-aided design classroom and an innovation lab.
Work on the project should start this semester with a plan to finish this summer.
