McDonough District Hospital notified the Sheriff’s Office about a thirty three year old stabbing victim. According to police Cathy Lewis age thirty three drove the victim outside of Macomb where a third party transported the victim to the hospital.
Detectives found a piece of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of crack cocaine at Lewis’s residence.
Cathy Lewis has been charged with aggravated domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance.
According to police the victim has been released from the hospital.
