Western Illinois Men’s Basketball to take on Iowa Hawkeyes tonight

The Western Illinois Men’s Basketball Team will take on Big 10 opponent Iowa Hawkeyes tonight in non-conference action. This will be the second Big 10 team that the Western Illinois Men’s Team has faced this year. Earlier in the year, they upset the Wisconsin Badgers 69-67 thanks to two crucial free throws by Garret Covington and a huge stop by the Western Illinois defense at the end of the game. Western Illinois was actually trending on Twitter that night because of the huge upset against the Wisconsin Badgers.

The game tonight will be played at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, IA. The game will be televised on the Big 10 Network. Tip-off for the game is set of 6:00 PM Central Time. The Leathernecks will enter the contest tonight with a record of 6-1. The Hawkeyes will enter the contest with a record of 6-2.
