SGA Senator-At-Large Resigns

SGALogoAn SGA officer resigned from her position earlier this week amid some controversy.

At Tuesday night’s SGA meeting, Senator-at-Large Bree Bracey told members she was leaving her position.

She expressed her love of SGA but continued to say she believed some decisions made by the Executive Board, regarding leadership positions, were “unethical and unnecessary.”

Bracey says the dismissal of a cabinet member is one reason for her resignation.

In an interview with the Western Courier, SGA President Wil Gradle said Bracey was unprofessional in her announcement, and that the notions that the Executive Board wanted to extend their power is false.

NEWS3 contacted Bracey to get a statement but we’ve gotten no response.
