Donald Trump, the well-known businessman famous for his real estate empire, and recently his television show “The [Celebrity] Apprentice,” announced Wednesday that he is launching a Presidential Exploratory Committee, the first step for a candidates for the Presidency of the United States. On his Facebook page, Trump released a statement saying, “I am the only one who can make America truly great again!”
In launching the exploratory committee, Trump has hired staffers in New York, South Carolina, as well as the key political battleground states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
A source tells a reporter at politico.com that NBC plans to continue producing season 15 of “Celebrity Apprentice,” of which Donald Trump hosts, despite the notion that Trump appears to be looking at the idea of a run for the White House.
