Two WIU Students passed away early this morning following a crash that happened 6 miles southwest of Macomb.
21 year old Gabrielle Yocum, 21 year old Cassie Roberts, and 23 year old Cedric Huffman were killed when the 2010 Jeep Wringler, driven by Yocum, went off the road and hit a tree in an embarkment. The crash occurred around 2:05 am Thursday. According to McDonough County Coroner Eric Jameson The three were pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics
A fourth passenger, 23 year old Justin Beer, is in critical condition at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
