Macomb police Chief Curt Barker tells us WIU student Alvin Montgomery was arrested Thursday night at Bayliss Hall in connection with the incident.
Montgomery, 25, is now charged with a Class 4 Felony in connection to making a false 9-1-1 call. Montgomery is also facing a charge of obstruction of justice, which is a Class A Misdemeanor.
Montgomery’s listed address is 509 West Murray Street, where the incident took place two nights ago.
Montgomery is lodged in McDonough County Jail awaiting a bond hearing. We’re told he’s also charged on an outstanding warrant in Dekalb County, Illinois.
